Medoc Wine

The Denomination of Origin Medoc is located north of the region of Bordeaux, France. His greatest production is represented in red wines. They are made of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon. Then Merlot for its low acidity and tannins. Later Cabernet Franc to add bouquet and complexity to the mix.

The soils of this region have excellent drainage, containing gravel and this keeps the heat which encourages ripening. The local climate is comparatively mild and high runoff.
